Come enjoy hiking and camping at our Spike Camp. It is accessible with four wheel drive only though our 1000 acre property with a twenty minute drive through our Hewitt wilderness access gate. You can also access it by a three and a half hour hike downhill from the top of Shenandoah Mountain. We can arrange drop off and provide GPS coordinates for the hike.
This is a very unique spot with views to amaze.
Spike camp sleeps up to four people with a couch that pulls out into a bed, and two matresses on the loft. There is a table, chairs, dresser, and a woodstove for heat and cooking. Outside, there is a swing, firepit, and johnny house. There are both charcoal and gas grills.
Access is available to our pavilion for use of kitchen, bathrooms, and showers – this is a twenty minute drive out of the woods for this facility.
Also included is catch and release fishing (artificial bait/lures only) in our five ponds and lake.

Hunting will be allowed on National Forest only – just steps away – redline behind firepit. Hunting rules for Scottland Farm Deer Management Program will apply – 8 point or larger, 15” spread minimum, no does. No loaded weapons on Scottland Farm property. All rules will be reviewed with Luke.
Hunting or no hunting, there will be a waiver to be signed prior to your stay.
